Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah is the chief executive
officer of the Emmanuel Educational Foundation And Sports Academy for the
Physically Challenged. A proud man as I stand rose from, the valley unto
the hills. A physically challenged person myself did not settle for
mediocrity and was able to come out of my situation as a challenged person
to this far.
It is my wish that through my effort the
countries perception of person with disability would change and with Challenged athletes foundation behind me, I
will create a better living condition for disabled sports men and women
and to continue to put disabled person into school with the foundation
that I have established for the disabled in Ghana. In ten years time I know the lives of the
disabled would changed through my effort.
Emmanuel Educational Fund and Sports Academy
(EEFSA) for the physically challenged was established five years ago as a
result of an empathic feeling that one physically challenged person had
after seeing the plight of his colleagues with disabilities in his country
(Ghana).
It is a non profit organization governed by
10-member Board of Directors with the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori
Panyin II, Chief of Kyebi as its patron.
The organization was incorporated with the
Registrar General's Department of Ghana in 2001 as a Non-Profit
organization with Barclays Bank Ghana Ltd as it bankers.
The foundation is up and doing, every year
the foundation enrolls 15 disabled students into schools right from the
junior high schools to the tertiary institutions of their choice. There
are more of these people who are looking for such opportunities, you can
donate to support such people or adopt to sponsor one of them today.
